Subway Style: Government Center

Loved this pucci-inspired poncho top with subtle sequin details. If only the subway had better lighting...(Then again, the T has more important things to worry about. You know, like giving us subway service after 12:30)

Subway Style: Tardis Lands at Kenmore

Drum Roll, Please! In our inaugural edition of Subway Style, (technically Street Style, but Subway Style sounds cooler), I present to you the  greatest synthesis of glamour and geek since...well, I don't know. I was going to wait until I had a real camera to start snapping,  but this was too good to pass up. My apologies for the 12MB of BlackBlurry-ness. Without further ado:

Name: Livvy
Location: Kenmore Square

Yes, carefully and classy-ly incorporated into that Damask Victorian print is...The Tardis.  And what better way to kick-off a celebration of style in by-far America's Most Academic City than with a Dr. Who reference fit for both Sci-Fi Nerds and History Buffs alike? See. Told you it was worth the pixelation. The shirt is available on threadless.com.

A closer look at what is possibly the most bitchin' use of blue over the entire course of the known universe:

Valentines Day!

Despite the fact that I never seem to actually have anyone to celebrate Valentine's Day with, it is actually one of my favorite holidays. See, my two favorite colors are Red and Pink, and I have a bizarre obsession with heart shaped anything, which I can buy in mass discounted bulk the day after. (An entire collection of heart-shaped bakeware will attest to this)

Anyway, so to celebrate the holiday, I give you my most recent wardrobe acquisition:

Obviously Cupid inspired, I'm excited to see how I can work it into a look that won't continue the lack-of-an-actual-person-to-celebrate-valentine's-day-with trend. Photoshoot to come.
