10,000 Leagues Under the Sea Punk

Ok, I've been a bad, bad blogista. I've allowed moving and the 9to5 to take up time that could be spent internet browsing and street styling. (Whoever you were, random girl on the subway with pink hair, a neon pink purse, and a pink trench coat, you rock.) Anyway, hopefully these will make it up to you. Courtesy of the "emerging trends"  event (whatever that means, aren't all fashion weeks about 'emerging trends?') at Boston Fashion week (again, whatever that means).

Also, apparently SeaPunk is now a thing. You read it here first.

No Doubt!

Just saw this Gwen Stefani Doppleganger on The Sartorialist...Can everyone please dress like this? Her earrings are giant yet they blend seamlessly (haha...get it?) into the rest of the outfit, and her shoes add just the perfect amount of pop.

Subway Style (Literally?), Instagram Inspiration

I don't care what refinery29 says, I am a huge fan of this Instagram Dress, and especially the MetroCard Purse. What could be a better combination of my love of unexpected fashion and weird obsession with subways? Seriously. And those shoes!

Welcome to Miami?

Bright Red Cat-Eye Sunglasses? White Nails? Neon Yellow Beach Bag? Fruity, Punchy Drink in Hand? I'll take her life, please. Courtesy of the Free People shoot in Miami. Is this somewhere I should think about vacationing?

Onesie Win

Have I mentioned that I'm on the eternal quest for the Perfect Denim Jumpsuit? I saw a whole group of them in the teen section of Filenes circa 2002 and life has never been the same since. I was too small at the time to buy one, but in another life I went to public school about 4 years earlier than I actually did and wore it every day. If you ever see a long-legged, flared denim jumpsuit with either spaghetti straps or a front zip-up halter top, email me. Immediately.

In the meantime, enjoy this bitchin' shorter version sported by Heather Graham in Austin Powers. I'd probably buy that too.

Sparkles and the City (The PG-13 Version)

While no one really knows what to expect from the much awaited-and-equally-feared CW Sex and the City Prequel Series, one thing is for sure: if all of the outfits are this good, it would have to be pretty horrible for me not to like it. (Though sadly, if you saw SATC2, you know that pretty horrible is indeed a very real possibility)
