Subway Style: Boston Pride!

Happy Pride Week Everyone! And to celebrate, check out these awesome custom Rainbow Converse Sneakers, found on an actual gay man outside a festival in Back Bay!

Note the way the white and purple stars invert colors on the other side of the shoe! And what's that? A photo not from my camera phone? thank my sexy new White Lumix LX5  (that I'll be paying off for the next, oh, four months or so)

Lovely Couple Nelson and Ricky! Also liking Ricky's popping Pants-Belt-Boxers combination. Of course, leave it to the Gays to color coordinate their underwear as an accessory.

Social Media...Sneakers?

Found these great Keds Prototypes courtesy of graphic designer Lumen Bigott. For now sadly they are just prototypes, but perhaps enough support will prompt actual production! (Hey, it can happen! remember these?)

Breaking Badass

Breaking Bad Inspired Converse- $85

(Also Available in "Walking Dead" and "Dexter")

Little beknownst to you, I am actually a Chemist by day and a SecretFashionBlogger By Night. Needless to say, when AMC came out with a series about how being a chemist is a completely exciting and badass profession (that also may or may not have involved some drug dealing too) I was excited. When artist Jon Defreest designed a pair of Chuck Taylors based off the show I was even more excited, and when tauntr actually started producing them I may as well have been snorting the Blue Stuff myself.

I HIGHLY suggest pairing them with bright orange laces as shown below:
